Standing on top of the world, a sky messenger announces the name of the "best watch brand in the world: Longines", appropriately the winged hourglass is surrounded by numerous awards as the company's trademark, in fact Longines is at least the oldest registered watch brand in the world, so early on they afforded such a valuable advertising medium, which still exudes incredible charm today, The surface and colours are still in good condition, there are some slight signs of age, the damage to the borders is a manifestation of decades of use - at the end of last year, this specimen found its way to us from Madrid, I was previously only aware of another such sign from the literature. Gebrauchskunst, auf dem Gipfel der Welt stehend verkündet Himmelsbotin den Namen der "besten Uhrenmarke der Welt: Longines", passend dazu ist die geflügelte Sanduhr als Schutzmarke der Firma umringt von zahlreichen Auszeichnungen, tatsächlich handelt es sich bei Longines zumindest um die älteste eingetragene Uhrenmarke der Welt, bereits früh leistete man sich also ein solch wertiges Werbemittel, das auch heute noch einen unglaublichen Charme versprüht, Fläche und Farben sind noch gut erhalten, teilweise sind leichte Altersspuren zu verzeichnen, die Randschäden manifestieren jahrzehntelangen Gebrauch - Ende letzten Jahres hat dieses Exemplar den Weg aus Madrid zu uns gefunden, mir war zuvor aus der Literatur lediglich ein weiteres solches Schild bekannt.
