Small silver gravy boat, London 1769, Georgian eraEnglish silver gravy boat from the time of King George III. Profiled rim with one-sided spout. Inside stamped with master's mark "S", below progressing English lion for 925 sterling silver, crowned leopard's head for London and in Fraktur script "O" for year of manufacture 1769. l. 12cm. Weight 41g. Good condition with superficial traces of use. Provenance: South German private collectionKleine Silber Sauciere, London 1769englische Silber Sauciere aus der Zeit König Georg III. Profilierter Rand mit einseitigem Ausguss. Innen gestempelt mit Meistermarke "S", darunter fortschreitender englischer Löwe für 925er Sterling-Silber, bekrönter Leopardenkopf für London und in Frakturschrift "O" für das Herstellungsjahr 1769.
