Bronze, obverse with bust of Duke Friedrich Wilhelm in uniform, inscription “Friedrich Wilhelm Herzog”, reverse with laurel wreath and inscription “Braunschweig seinen Kriegern 1815 Quatrebras und Waterloo”, instituted in 1818 by George IV for the Brunswick soldiers who fought against Napoleon, with rare edge inscription “I.
