Large Villeroy & Boch, Mettlach wine jug, around 1850
earthenware, brown-colored shard, unmarked, very rare jug in the early Maximilian style, model no. 158, round stand, bulbous body, six-fold faceted, spout, ear handle attached to the back, wall completely covered with relief birds, grapes and vine leaves, Platinum plating, good age-appropriate condition, platinum plating rubbed, 27 x 19 x 13 cm (HxWxD)

Große Villeroy & Boch, Mettlach Weinkanne, um 1850
Steingut, braun eingefärbter Scherben, unbezeichnet, sehr seltene Kanne im frühen Maximilian-Stil, Modell Nr. 158, runder Stand, bauchiger Korpus, sechsfach facettiert, Ausguss mit Schnaube, rückseitig angesetzter Ohrenhenkel, Wandung komplett überzogen mit reliefierten Vögeln, Weintrauben und Weinlaub, Platinauflage, altersgemäß guter Zustand, Platinauflage berieben, 27 x 19 x 13 cm (HxBxT)
