Artist info: German landscape painter and graphic artist (1890 Neuruppin to 1937 Neuruppin), 1906-10 trained as a lithographer at the lithography firm Oehmigke & Riemschneider, known for their Neuruppiner Bilderbogen, then painter at the Gollert theatre painting workshop, further training with Hans Licht and Georg Marschall in Berlin, war service in WW1. Returned to Neuruppin in 1919 and worked as a freelance artist, undertook study trips to southern Germany and the Harz mountains, member of the Reichsverband Bildender Künstler Deutschlands and the Vereinigung Bildender Künstler Berlin, source: Vollmer, Dressler and Internet.
