standing and sitting lady nude in an interior, etching, signed and dated in pencil below the image on the right "Rink (19)77" and numbered on the left "93/150", framed under passepartout and behind glass, image dimensions approx. 29 x 23 cm. Artist's info: Germ. Painter and graphic artist (1940 in Schlotheim/Thuringia until 2017 Leipzig), 1955-58 attended secondary school in Mühlhausen, 1958-61 attended the Workers' and Peasants' Faculty at the Academy of Fine Arts in Dresden with Erich Hering, Gerhard Augst and Gerhard Stengel, 1961-62 worked in the Leipzig wool combing factory, 1962-67 studied at the Academy of Visual Arts (HGB) in Leipzig with Werner Tübke, Fritz Fröhlich, Bernhard Heisig and Harry Blume, 1967-69 freelance in Leipzig, 1969-72 aspirant with Gerhard Eichhorn, from 1972 teaching at the HGB in Leipzig, 1979 appointed professor at the HGB, 1987-94 rector of the HGB, 2005 retired, considered the "founding father" of the New Leipzig School, was teacher of Neo Rauch and Michael Triegel, among others, numerous exhibitions in Germany and abroad, Source: Eisold "Künstler in der DDR" and Wikipedia.
