Weave of hatchings of varying intensity, powerful, unusually large-format etching, dated and signed in lead below the image on the right "20. April 2005, Robert Reiter", inscribed on the left "e.a." and dedicated in the centre to "my friend and printer Winfried", image dimensions approx. 67 x 100 cm, sheet dimensions approx. 78 x 107 cm. Artist's info: German painter and graphic artist (born 1932 in Stupava near Bratislava), 1944 escape of the family to Prague, 1946 move to Neustadt an der Aisch, from 1952 study of art education at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, among others with Xaver Fuhr, acquaintance with Heimrad Prem and Helmut Sturm, 1982 award of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany for his engagement in the preservation of historical monuments, until 1995 secondary school teacher in Coburg, source: Wikipedia.
