Don Quixote on horseback with his faithful companion, from "Toros y toreros", colour silkscreen, dated in the upper part of the print "5.7.(19)59" and number "IV", framed under mount and behind glass, mount cut-out approx. 42 x 29.5 cm. Artist's info: Spanish painter, graphic artist and sculptor (1881 Malaga to 1973 Mougins), studied at the Barcelona School of Art in 1895, 1897 briefly at the San Fernando Academy in Madrid, 1900 first stay in Paris, 1903 moved to Paris, also active in Vallauris, Antibes, Aix-en-Provence and Mougins, source: among others Thieme-Becker, Vollmer and Wikipedia.
