Ten sheets of a set depicting biblical themes, the model supplied by Francois Verdier, each with text in French under the depiction in the plate, inscribed under the depiction in the print on the right "et Gravé par Ch. Simonneau" and on the left "Inv.et dessiné par F. Verdier.", nice strong impressions, partly minimal defects of preservation, each mounted in pairs on backing cardboard, dimensions of depiction without lettering ca. 13,6 x 20,1 cm, dimensions of sheet ca. 16,2 x 21,2 cm. Artist's info: French engraver (1645 Orléans to 1728 Paris), pupil of Coypel and G. Chasteau, engraved more than 130 sheets after contemporary French painters (among them LeBrun, Noel, A.
