Willy Mulot, Extensive collection of drawings
consisting of approx. 156 drawings and sketches in pencil and pastel depicting plants, landscapes, technical equipment and scenes from soldiers' life, four caricatures/illustration drawings, seven characterful portraits of personalities, one drawn document, two signed lithographs and four landscape paintings, oil on canvas (not stretched on stretcher), 1st half 20th cent, partly signed, different condition and different dimensions. Artist's info: actually Willibald Mulot, German painter, draughtsman, graphic artist. Painter, draughtsman, graphic artist and illustrator (1889 Wiesbaden - 1982 Wiesbaden), studied 1906-14 at the academy of arts in Düsseldorf, here master pupil of Eugen Dücker, represented in the municipal gallery of Wiesbaden, exhibited at the Nassauischer Kunstverein, Member of the board of the Association of Wiesbaden Artists, member of the Nassau Art Association Wiesbaden, the artists' group "Das Eiland" Düsseldorf and the Reichsverband bildender Künstler (Reich Association of Visual Artists), in 1938-42 he exhibited at the Great German Art Exhibition in the House of German Art in Munich, active in Wiesbaden , source: Thieme-Becker, Vollmer, Saur "Bio-Bibliographisches Künstlerlexikon", Dressler, Müller-Singer, Ries, Bénézit and Wikipedia.
