1st half of the 20th century, signed "B. Hoetger.", foundry stamp "Eug(ege) Blot à Paris" bronze brown patinated, impressionistic, moving depiction of a weeping female nude, on irregular round plinth, partially minimally rubbed, h 27 cm. Artist info: German sculptor (1874 Hörde to 1949 Interlaken), painter and craftsman, 1888-1892 sculptor apprenticeship, later studies at the academy of arts in Düsseldorf, from 1900-1907 stay in Paris, where he was influenced by the work of A.
