Meissen "Apple Harvest"
Designed by Johann Joachim Kändler in 1753, underglaze blue pommel mark 1860-1924, 1st choice, incised model number 1998, Bossierer number 132 and painter number 73.Naturalistic form with underglaze and onglaze painting and gold staffage, on a round terrain base around a central apple tree acting gardener couple and two boys harvesting apples, expertly restored condition, leaf trimming somewhat bumped and one branch glued, h 27.5 cm.
