Copenhagen "Faun with Cat"
Designed by Knud Kyhn (1880-1969) for Royal Copenhagen, monogrammed, blue wave and green stamp 1923-1934, model number 1036, incised letter S and painter's number 109 for E. Hassager (active 1904-1932), naturalistic moulding with pastel coloured underglaze painting, young sitting faun trying to kiss a struggling cat in his arms, rare figure with tiny burn marks, otherwise good condition, h 12,5 cm.
