Copenhagen Vase Maple Leaf Decoration
Designed by Arnold Krog in 1894 for Royal Copenhagen, underglaze blue wave and green stamp mark 1889-1922, incised mark, mould number 108, painted decoration number 210 and painter's number 85, oval body with faint central indentation, slightly indented flared mouth rim, from light brown to white running background with surrounding decoration of near-mouth reserves in the shape of flowers and large maple leaves in green-tone Camaieu underglaze painting, minimally fire-stained, otherwise in good condition, h 16.5 cm.
