A LARGE ICON SHOWING STS. TATIANA AND ADRIAN WITH A SILVER OKLAD Russian, circa 1885 (icon), Russian, Moscow, Antip Ivanovitch Kuzmitchev, 1885 (oklad) Oil on wood panel. Overlaid with a chased and finely engraved silver oklad. Marked with city hallmark, assayer’s mark, 84 standard and master’s mark ‘AIK’ in Cyrillic. Minimally restored. On the reverse Cyrillic inscription. 36 x 27.2 cm.
