Flown W Trenkle Signed W Trenkle Messerschmitt Test Pilot and H Lange Luftwaffe Pilot. 21st Mar 1981 BFPS 6343 Flug Kapitan W Trenkel Chief Pilot for Messerschmitt. Personally Signed by Flug Kapitan W Trenkle Test Pilot 9, 000 with MTT and about 5, 000 with Me 109 plus others Me 108, 210, 410, 262 and 323 four and Six engined glider. During the 1930's Trenkle was a flying instructor with the Luftwaffe and in 1937 he became Chief Test Pilot of the Messerschmitt-Zwigweks where he test flew the first ME-108 to be produced and went on, during WW11, to test fly the ME-109 and ME-262. In 1945 he claimed to have shot down a P-38 Lightning. It was during this test flying service that in 1942, Trenkle was granted the title of Flug Kapitan at the age of 30, the youngest age at which this honour was ever granted. Also Signed by Major Heinz Lange Knights Cross Luftwaffe Pilot JG 54 Battle of Britain. Flew 628 Missions 70 Victories. Details enclosed. Certified Copy No 149 of 992 by Hans Rossbach and F Waters.
