Porcelain sign / enamel sign, vaulted, thick, stenciled, also lithographed, Amsterdam/NL c. 1905, 23 x 33 cm, what a beautiful work of art made of enamel, all leaves and fruits filled in boldly, also the writing thickly backed, the depicted fakir seems almost alive, sticking his tongue out at the viewer and apparently craving for pills - absolutely rare! GERMAN DESCRIPTION:Emailschild, gewölbt, dick, fast schon zuckergußartig schabloniert, zudem lithographiert, Amsterdam/NL um 1905, 23 x 33 cm, welch schönes Kunstwerk aus Emaille, sämtliche Blätter und Früchte fett eingefüllt, auch die Schrift dick hinterlegt, der abgebildete Fakir scheint fast lebendig, wie er dem Betrachter seine Zunge entgegenstreckt und augenscheinlich nach Pillen lechzst - absolut selten!
