COCA-COLA
Porcelain sign / enamel sign, convex, thickly stenciled, also finely lithographed, integrated thermometer (functional), NOR circa 1938, 18.5 x 53 cm, this sign is considered the ultimate jewel of a large-scale Coca-Cola advertising campaign in the late 1930s to open up the European market - at first only copies for the Belgian region were known, but later, as the collector scenes became more networked, people in this country also learned about this extremely rare Scandinavian version. The condition is one of a kind, even the protective grille still has the original pins, the surface is shiny and fresh and the Coca-Cola "button", which only experienced its heyday in the 1950s, lies thickly filled on top - enamel art in high culture.
