Porcelain sign / enamel sign, lithographed, NL late 30s, 72 x 42 cm, after speeding away from the lion, the driver rests under a palm tree - as it turns out, it was not the man himself in whom the lion was interested, but the noble wheel, which he then quickly grabs. Rarely does Old Advertising manage to present such a comprehensive story. The sign itself is in best condition, only the outer edge shows slight signs of wear. GERMAN DESCRIPTION:Emailschild, abgekantet, lithographiert, NL späte 30er Jahre, 72 x 42 cm, nachdem er dem Löwen davongerast war, rastet der Fahrer unter einer Palme - wie sich zeigt, war es aber nicht etwa der Mann selbst, an dem der Löwe interessiert war, sondern eben das edle Rad, dass er sich dann auch fflaps schnappt. Selten schafft es Alte Reklame, eine solch umfassende Geschichte darzustellen. Das Schild selbst ist in bester Erhaltung, lediglich am äußeren Rand hat es leichte Gebrauchsspuren.
