He also led the “Act, Set and Costume Design” class at the Berlin Textile and Clothing School on Warschauer Straße. From 1912 to 1960, Kuhfuss took part in 173 exhibitions, in particular the Great Berlin Art Exhibitions (since 1913), exhibitions of the artist groups Freie Secession under the direction of Max Liebermann and Berlin Secession under the direction of Lovis, Prussian Academy of Arts in Berlin, exhibitions of the German Artists' Association, the "Porza", the Association of Visual Artists of the GDR, the Association of Berlin Artists.
