The Austrian painter and graphic artist Richard Carl Wagner lived and worked in Perchtoldsdorf near Vienna. Wagner studied for two years with Anton Brenek at the Vienna Kunstgewerbeschule (School of Applied Art; Brenek’ tenure at the Kunstgewerbeschule: 1881 – 1905) and made his debut as a painter and graphic artist at the 43rd exhibition of the Vienna Secession in January 1913). Wagner also took part in the 46th Secession exhibition in January 1914. He received the Staatsmedaille (state medal) at the state exhibition in Klosterneuburg in 1935 and the Staatspreis (state prize) in Krems in 1936.

The mandatory sales tax of 13%, for photographys 20%, is added to the sum of the highest bid and the buyer's premium. The buyer's premium amounts to 28% in case of differential taxation. The sales tax is included in the differential taxation.
