Marianne Seeland attended the Vienna School of Applied Arts in Bertold Loeffler's specialist class. In the 1920s and 30s she took part in numerous exhibitions in the Hagenbund and the Association of Female Artists. Seeland was a member of the Vienna Women's Art Association.
