Portfolio Munich 1972 Olympic Games (artist posters - both series) Complete series of artists' posters for the Olympic Games, 35 original graphic posters, colour serigraphs on paper, one series approx. 84 cm x 59 cm sheet dimensions, the following artists were involved in the project: Gernot Bubenik, Günther Desch, Alfonso Hüppi, Hans-Jürgen Kleinhammes, Werner Nöfer, Wolfgang Petrick and Gerd Winner, each (except Winner and Petrick) signed in the print, each Edition Olympia 1972 GmbH 1972, the other series approx. 101 cm x 64 cm sheet dimensions, the following artists were involved in the project: Valerio Adami, Josef Albers, Otmar Alt, Horst Antes, Shusaki Arakawa, Max Bill, Eduardo Chillida, Allan d'Arcangelo, Alan Davie, Piero Dorazio, Hans Hartung, David Hockney, Friedensreich Hundertwasser, Allen Jones, Ronald Brooks Kitaj, Oskar Kokoschka, Jan Lenica, Charles Lapicque, Jacob Laurence, Marino Marini, Peter Philipps, Serge Poliakoff, Richard Smith, Pierre Soulages, Victor Vasarely, Tom Wesselmann, Fritz Winter and Paul Wunderlich, all posters signed and partly dated in the print, of which 15 posters Edition Olympia 1972 GmbH and 13 posters Reproduction-Poster Edition Olympia 1972 GmbH, 200 copies each numbered and signed and in different formats, a further 4000 copies were printed in the original graphic (as here). The sheets of this edition are signed in print. The unlimited offset print runs differ in format, some sheets have partial creases, folds and tears in the margins. Enclosed poster Africa and poster Dove of Peace to illustrate all the posters published for the 1972 Olympics.
