Reed & Barton, Silvered jug with porcelain insert, c. 1880.Large jug with hinged lid, finely decorated all around with engraved floral motifs surrounded by decorative borders. Handle also with floral decor, porcelain insert with a strainer in front of the spout. Hallmarked on the bottom. Height ca 37 cm, Ø bottom ca 19 cm. Good condition with signs of age and use, porcelain insert with hairline crack.Reed & Barton, Versilberter Krug mit Porzellaneinsatz, um 1880Großer Krug mit Scharnierdeckel, umlaufend fein mit eingravierten floralen Motiven verziert, umgeben von dekorativen Bordüren. Handhabe ebenfalls mit floralem Dekor, Einsatz aus Porzellan mit einem Sieb vor dem Ausguss. Am Boden gepunzt. Höhe ca. 37 cm, Ø Boden ca. 19 cm. Guter Erhaltungszustand mit Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren, Porzellaneinsatz mit Haarriss.
