Klassizistische Kaminuhr, Frankreich um 1820
Achttagewerk mit Halbstundenschlag auf versilberte Bronzeglocke und Fadenaufhängung des Pendels. Gehäuse Bronze, feuervergoldet, teilweise patiniert. Reliefierte Darstellung eines trinkenden Jünglings aus der griechisch-römischen Mythologie am Sockel, sowie figürlichen Darstellungen neben dem Ziffernblatt. Links davon wohl Dionysos/Bacchus, rechts ein Ziegenbock (Bezug zu Pan), der an der Uhr emporklettert, wo sich verschiedene Instrumente befinden. Maße: Breit 27 cm, Höhe 35 cm, Tiefe 9,5 cm. Guter Erhaltungszustand mit Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren, Uhrmachergepflegt.

Eight-day movement with half-hour strike on silvered bronze bell and thread suspension of pendulum. Case bronze, fire-gilded, partially patinated. Relief depiction of a drinking youth from Greco-Roman mythology on the base, as well as figural depictions next to the dial. To the left probably Dionysus/Bacchus, to the right a billy goat (reference to Pan) climbing up the clock where various instruments are located. Dimensions: width 27 cm, height 35 cm, depth 9.5 cm. Good state of preservation with signs of age and use, clockmaker cared.
