Autor: Petavius, Dionysius, Abriss der Weltgeschichte, der bis 1632 reicht. Petavius, gelehrter und scharfsinniger Jesuit, der in seinem Rationarium temporum, einem synchronistischen Handbuche nach dem Vorgange Isidors v. S., die sechs Weltalter an die Spitze stellte, zugleich aber den gesamten Stoff nach selbstständigen und leichtfaßlichen Gesichtspunkten in acht Bücher - die eine Hälfte für die Zeit vor, die andre für die Zeit nach Christus - behandelte (Wegele 482). In goldgeprägtes Leder gebunden, Sprache: Latein. Gut erhaltener Zustand mit Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren.

Petavius, learned and astute Jesuit, who in his Rationarium temporum, a synchronistic handbook after the precedent of Isidore v. S., placed the six world ages at the top, but at the same time treated the entire material according to independent and easily comprehensible points of view in eight books - one half for the time before, the other for the time after Christ (Wegele 482). Bound in gilt leather, language: Latin. Well preserved condition with signs of age and use.
