Viennese cathedral clock, around 1850.Case made of wood (probably pear), blackened, superstructure in the shape of a Gothic church portal, in the front four fluted columns with brass capitals. Bulbous form, in the lower part tapering conically downwards. Between the columns three oriels with pointed gables, above them floral painted front in gold and red tones. Profiled circular cutout with built-in Viennese movement, this with 4/4th strike on two tone spirals and thread suspension of the pendulum, bulged, white enameled dial with Roman numerals. Clock is functional, signs of age and use, old restored condition. H. ca. 80 cm, W. ca. 37 cm, D ca. 19 cm.Wiener Kathedralenuhr, um 1850Gehäuse aus Holz (wohl Birnbaum), geschwärzt, Aufbau in Form eines gotischen Kirchenportals, in der Front vier kannelierte Säulen mit Messingkapitälen. Gebauchte Form, im Unterteil sich konisch nach unten verjüngend. Zwischen den Säulen drei Erker mit Spitzgiebel, darüber floral bemalte Front in Goldfarbe und Rottönen. Profilierter runder Ausschnitt mit eingebautem Wiener Uhrwerk, dieses mit 4/4tel Schlag auf zwei Tonspiralen und Fadenaufhängung des Pendels, gebauchtes, weiß emaillierst Ziffernblatt mit römischen Zahlen. Uhr ist funktionsfähig, Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren, altrestaurierter Zustand. H. ca. 80 cm, B. ca. 37 cm, T ca. 19 cm.
