Figure automaton with music around 1920
Square stand on small feet, built-in musical mechanism with crank on the side, standing on it double bass playing black musician, when turning the crank the musical mechanism sounds and the figure moves the arm and the head. Signs of age and use, nice original condition, probably France around 1920. Rare collector's item. H. approx. 35cm
Figurenautomat mit Musik um 1920
Viereckiger Stand auf Füßchen, darin verbautes Musikwerk mit seitlicher Kurbel, darauf stehender Kontrabass spielender schwarzer Musiker, beim Drehen der Kurbel ertönt das Musikwerk und die Figur bewegt den Arm und den Kopf. Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren, schöner Originalzustand, wohl Frankreich um 1920. Seltenes Sammlerstück. H. ca. 35cm
