Oil on canvas. Atmospheric view of an Alpine valley in the morning haze, with monumental mountain massif in the background. Centered village with church tower. Beautiful perspective, interesting light. Signed "F. Rickerl Mch" lower left. 1st half 20th c. Partly slightly crazed, an elongated color spot on the left, otherwise good condition. Framed in a striking gold frame. Overall dimensions h. 133cm, w. 112cm.
