Date: 1756-93.
Technique: Carved mahogany.
Description: Straight-lined case. The top with glazed front and slender fluted columns. Front plate
with ring dial, Roman numerals and Arabic minutes. Eight-day movement with lever
escapement, locking plate, hourly chime. Subsidiary second under the XII, date display,
moon age and moon phase.
Measurement: 230x53x27cm.
Mark: Front plate inscribed "Thomas Wagstaffe London" (worked from 1753 until 1793 in London).
