PORCELAIN WEIMAR VASE WITH COBALT BLUE GROUND AND FLOWER BOUQUETS.

Date: Ca. 1906.
Technique: Porcelain, enriched with colours and gold.
Description: Lidded vase with ovoid body on a fluted, multi-stepped foot. On the sides two curved,
fluted acanthus handles. Lid slightly vaulted with acanthus bud as a finial. Cobalt blue
and white ground and rich, golden-decorated relief decor. On each side a medallion, framed
by gold enamel, with finely painted flower bouquets.
Measurement: Height incl. lid 84cm.
Mark: Sceptre mark, red imperial orb, year letter F for 1906 embossed.
