Nuremberg silver salver in oval shape, with waved border and oval deepened centre, richly chased and engraved with Alexander the Great (356-323 BC) and Diogenes (413-323 BC), surrounded by soldiers and achanthus leaves, later drill hole in the border; hall marked N. and three other unidentified marks; 1000g; 48x38cm. German 18 th Century.
