Large carved opium bed, China, mid-20th century, rosewood, front, floor and side walls with extremely artistically carved landscape idylls over a wooden insert floor, over a molded frieze and raised on short square legs. Two dragon heads at the front end of the side walls whose legs and vertebrae decorate the entire upper edge, while two eagles with open wings are enthroned on the flanking panels at the back, a demon face in the middle.
