2nd of a total of 4 chandeliers. This equally purist and elegant chandelier, which found its way into a private collection from the second oldest university in Germany, captivates with an aura that defies short-lived fashion trends, with accents of the Bauhaus period (clear spherical & cylindrical elements). The piece is characterized by the perfect combination of noble materials and brilliant shape and proportion. The chandelier is in excellent condition, cleaned and rewired. The shiny frosted glass globes are 7.5 inches in diameter. The brass finish is very good with minimal signs of wear. The 18 hand blown glass balls show the typical signs of handmade glass (small trapped bubbles or irregularities. The glass balls are flawless.
All surfaces are touched up and fixed with Zapon lacquer (cellulose). The lamp is switchable to 0/6/12/18 each, the sockets E27 standardized. The original height is ca.2,15m and the diameter 90cm. The 6 spherical planes are flexible to create different formations (spirals or linear
