Buffet, Bernard (Paris 1928 - 1999). Le Canal. Kaltnadelradierung. 1955. Signiert und nummeriert. 53,5 x 67,5 cm. Reinz 180.- Eines von 125 nummerierten Exemplaren.- Die Werke von Buffet, der an der Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris studierte, werden häufig von einem dunklen Liniengeflecht dominiert. Sein realistischer Stil hatte Künstler wie Rembrandt van Rijn, Gustave Courbet oder Vincent van Gogh zum Vorbild.- Befestigter Kanal mit Brücke zwischen Häusern.- Untere linke weiße Ecke mit leichtem Feuchtrand.
