After 34 successful auctions with countless world record prices for cameras, I handed the camera auctions over to a group, also to concentrate on the WestLicht Photo and Camera Museum, the OstLicht Photo Gallery and the OstLicht Photo Auctions. However, when I was recently offered a private lover's fantastic collection, I couldn't resist the temptation. The Zeiss Hologon is a legendary wide angle lens. It is ultra rare as only 225 sets were produced for Leica M Cameras. Leica converted the Zeiss Hologon lenses to M-Mount in 1972, which was the widest angle lens available for Leica M Rangefinders. The offered set is in mint condition with perfect glass, caps, 15mm finder, Carl Zeiss graduated density filter, original maker's box with matching number.
