The right part of the bridge and a ring for a possible carrying strap are present. The body with its flat bottom is mounted with iron nails. The tangent box is missing. The entire instrument was conserved and cleaned by Karin Richter (then a staff member at the Germanisches Nationalmuseum in Nuremberg).
