ST. PETER, DIANA THE HUNTRESS AND CANDLESTICK
Cast zinc, bronze, brass, around 1900
H: from 17 to 28 cm
The head of Diana, the goddess of the hunt, is a copy of the bronze head that Carl Friedrich Ludiwg Lohner (1786-1863) discovered in 1826 while excavating in Allmendingen near Thun. The original is in the Historical Museum in Bern.
