Rudolf Pfannenstil, "Faraglioni auf Capri"sommerlich-sonnige mediterrane Landschaft mit Blick vom hohen Ufer, vorbei an Kakteen und Säulenzypressen, zu den berühmten Wahrzeichen der Insel Capri, den "Faraglioni" genannten Kalksteinfelsen im Golf von Neapel, pastose Malerei mit breitem Pinselduktus, Öl auf Leinwamd und Hartfaserplatte, um 1960, rechts unten signiert "R. Pfannenstiel", rückseitig diverse Annotationen wie "Capri 2 Felsen Faraglioni" sowie Info zum Maler und Gemälde, auf dem Rahmen Rahmungsetikett "Glaserei Glasmann Sonthofen ...", etwas reinigungsbedürftig, gerahmt, Falzmaße ca. 40 x 50,5 cm. Künstlerinfo: dt. Maler, Graphiker und Pädagoge (1888 Wörnsdorf bei Altfraunhofen bis 1979 Oberstdorf/Allgäu), zunächst Schüler der Münchner Lehrerbildungsanstalt und Anfang der 1920er Jahre an der Kunstgewerbeschule München bei Alois Roth und Max Doerner, anschließend als Kunsterzieher an diversen Münchner Schulen tätig, beschickte 1935 die große Münchner Kunstausstellung, 1939-45 Kriegsdienst in Paris und in der Bretagne, später wieder als Lehrer in München tätig, unternahm Studienreisen nach Südtirol und ins Allgäu, ab 1956 in Fischen/Allgäu ansässig, Quelle: Internet und Kürschners Graphikerhandbuch 1967.
