Walter Helfenbein, Fasanenpaarzwei über den Acker stolzierende farbenprächtige männliche Fasane, Farbholzschnitt auf Japanpapier, um 1920-30, rechts unten in Blei signiert "Walter Helfenbein", minimal gegilbt und dezente Flecke, war nie gerahmt, Darstellungsmaße ca. 21 x 36 cm, Blattmaße ca. 32 x 44,5 cm. Künstlerinfo: dt. Maler und Graphiker (1893 Dresden bis 1984 Dresden-Pappritz), kurzzeitiger Besuch an der Kunstgewerbeschule in Dresden, sonst künstlerisch Autodidakt, Quelle: Vollmer.
Walter Helfenbein, FasanenpaarTwo colourful male pheasants strutting across the field, colour woodcut on Japanese paper, c. 1920-30, signed in pencil lower right "Walter Helfenbein", minimally yellowed and discreet stains, was never framed, image dimensions c. 21 x 36 cm, sheet dimensions c. 32 x 44.5 cm. Artist information: German painter and graphic artist (1893 Dresden to 1984 Dresden-Pappritz), briefly attended the Kunstgewerbeschule in Dresden, otherwise artistically self-taught, source: Vollmer.
