Maler, Entwerfer und Illustrator (1925 Plauen/Vogtland bis 2020 Plauen), 1939-43 Schüler der Plauener Kunstschule, gefördert von Kurt Geipel und Walter Löbering, ab 1943 Kriegsdienst im 2. Feiler" lower left, beautifully framed, folded dimensions approx. 104 x 79 cm. Artist information: German painter, designer and illustrator (1925 Plauen/Vogtland to 2020 Plauen), 1939-43 pupil of the Plauen art school, supported by Kurt Geipel and Walter Löbering, from 1943 military service in WW2 and serious wounding, after 1943 he served in the German army. After 1945 he worked temporarily as an advertising designer and designer for textile companies, from 1952 he worked as a freelance artist, spent time painting in Venice and Mallorca, in 2011 he was made an honorary citizen of Plauen, active in Plauen, source: Vollmer, Frank Weiß "Malerei im Vogtland" and Internet.
