idyllische Szene am Dorfrand mit schwatzenden Bauern auf der Landstraße im hellen Sonnenlicht, vor imposanter Hochgebirgskulisse, stimmungsvolle, pastose Landschaftsmalerei, Öl auf Leinwand und Holzplatte, um 1870, links unten signiert "M. v. Raden fct. [fecit für: hat es gemacht]", gering retuschiert, im schönen Goldstuckrahmen mit Messingrahmenschild "M. Raden" gerahmt, Falzmaße ca. 42,5 x 60 cm. Künstlerinfo: niederländischer Zeichner, Aquarellist und Maler (1832 Den Haag bis 1879 Den Haag), studierte 1845-49 an der Akademie der Bildenden Künste Den Haag bei Jean Baptiste Weenink (1790 Paris bis 1855 Den Haag), unternahm diverse Studienreisen, unter anderem nach Belgien, Frankreich, Italien und in die Schweiz, beschickte 1856-78 die Ausstellungen in Den Haag, tätig in Den Haag, Quelle: Saur "Bio-Bibliographisches Künstlerlexikon", Scheen, Info Rijksbureau voor Kunsthistorische Documentatie und Sterberegister der Stadt Den Haag.

Idyllic scene on the edge of a village with chatting farmers on a country road in bright sunlight, against an imposing high mountain backdrop, atmospheric, impasto landscape painting, oil on canvas and wood panel, c. 1870, signed lower left "M. v. Raden fct. [fecit for: did it]", slightly retouched, framed in a beautiful gilt stucco frame with brass frame label "M. Raden", dimensions approx. 42.5 x 60 cm. Artist information: Dutch draughtsman, watercolourist and painter (1832 The Hague to 1879 The Hague), studied 1845-49 at the Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague under Jean Baptiste Weenink (1790 Paris to 1855 The Hague), undertook various study trips, including to Belgium, France, Italy and Switzerland, exhibited in The Hague from 1856-78, active in The Hague, source: Saur "Bio-Bibliographisches Künstlerlexikon", Scheen, Info Rijksbureau voor Kunsthistorische Documentatie and death register of the city of The Hague.
