"Spuhr oder Faehrte eines Rehe Bocks" und sich anschleichender Hund, Radierungen, Mitte 18. Jh., jeweils in der Platte signiert, braunfleckig, hinter Glas gerahmt, Falzmaße ca. 42 x 32 cm. Künstlerinfo: dt. Maler, Graphiker und Verleger (1698 Ulm bis 1767 Augsburg), Schüler seines Vaters Johann Ridinger, ab ca. 1711 Schüler des Malers Christoph Resch in Ulm, ab 1713-14 bei Johann Falch in Augsburg, durch Vermittlung von Gabriel Spitzel drei Jahre im Diensten Graf Metternichs in Regensburg, ab ca. 1718 Schüler der Augsburger Stadtakademie bei Georg Philipp Rugendas dem Älteren, hier 1757 zum “Assessor des evangelischen Ehegerichts” und 1759 zum Direktor der Stadtakademie ernannt, wurde durch Tier- und Jagddarstellungen berühmt, die einen Hauptteil seines Schaffens ausmachten, Quelle: Thieme-Becker, Wikipedia und Internet.

"Spuhr oder Faehrte eines Rehe Bocks" and sich anschleichender Hund, etchings, mid 18th century, each signed in the plate, brown stains, framed behind glass, folded dimensions approx. 42 x 32 cm. Artist information: German painter, graphic artist and publisher (1698 Ulm - 1767 Augsburg), pupil of his father Johann Ridinger, from ca. 1711 pupil of the painter Christoph Resch in Ulm, from 1713-14 with Johann Falch in Augsburg, through the mediation of Gabriel Spitzel three years in the service of Count Metternich in Regensburg, from ca. 1718 pupil of Georg Philipp Rugendas the Elder at the Augsburg City Academy, appointed "Assessor of the Protestant Marriage Court" in 1757 and Director of the City Academy in 1759, became famous for his depictions of animals and hunting, which made up a large part of his work, source: Thieme-Becker, Wikipedia and Internet.
