WMF Geislingen Vase mit Metallmontierung
um 1900, gestempelt B Straußenmarke I/O OX, Britanniametall versilbert sowie farbloses Klarglas, durchbrochen gearbeitete Montierung mit ausgestelltem, von Lorbeerfestons verziertem Standfuß, seitlich zwei gebogene abgekantete Henkel, geometrischer und vegetabil stilisierter Dekor, originaler farbloser Einsatz aus Klarglas mit Kerb- und Olivschliff sowie mit gewelltem Rand, dieser mit Spuren von Glaskorrosion, Metall mit Kerben am Stand, Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren, H 29 cm.
WMF Geislingen vase with metal mount
circa 1900, stamped B ostrich mark I/O OX, Britannia metal silver plated as well as colourless clear glass, open worked mount with flared stand decorated by laurel festoons, on the sides two bent handles, geometric and vegetal stylised decoration, original colourless clear glass insert with notched and olive cut as well as wavy rim, the latter with traces of glass corrosion, metal with notches on the stand, signs of age and wear, h 29 cm.
