Artist's info Wolfgang Henne: German painter, graphic artist and book artist (born 1949 in Leipzig), from 1968 apprenticeship as bookseller, 1975-80 studies at the Academy of Visual Arts (HGB) in Leipzig with Prof. Irmgard Horlbeck-Kappler, 1980-82 additional studies in the workshops of the HGB, 1983-85 master student at the Academy of Arts in Berlin with Prof. Werner Klemke. Werner Klemke, 1990 founded the Galerie am Kraftwerk in Leipzig together with Peter Lang, from 1992 worked with ceramics, 2005-07 lectureship at the HGB Leipzig, Source: Eisold "Künstler in der DDR" and Internet. Artist info Steffen Volmer: Germ. Graphic artist (born 1955 in Dresden), 1974-76 worked as a stagehand and employee of the Deutsche Werbe- und Anzeigengesellschaft (DEWAG), 1976-81 studied at the Hochschule für Graphik und Buchkunst Leipzig with Hans Mayer-Foreyt, Dietrich Burger, Heinz Wagner and Hartwig Ebersbach, from 1981 freelance, 1982-84 master student with Gerhard Kettner at the Academy of Fine Arts in Dresden, 1981-84 sponsorship contract with the municipal theatres of Karl-Marx-Stadt, member of the Association of Visual Artists (VBK) of the GDR, active in Chemnitz, Source: Eisold "Künstler in der DDR".
