Artist info: German painter and etcher (1869 Meßbach to 1946 Oberweischlitz), early encouragement by his teacher Louis Riedel (1847-1919), studied 1884-89 at the Plauen art school, afterwards two years of military service, from 1891 employment at the Berlin printing and publishing house W.
