Christian Peschke, screaming man
2nd half of the 20th century, unsigned, bronze lightly patinated, fragmentary depiction of a screaming man with raised, claw-like hand, in strongly moving design, good condition for age, h 9.5 cm. Provenance: This sculpture comes from the liquidation of the collection of the Munich foundry Heinz Mocnik. Artist info: German sculptor, painter and graphic artist (1946 Bad Säckingen until 2017), by special permission from 1958 attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart with Gerhard Gollwitzer, then apprenticeship as painter and varnisher. Apprenticeship as painter and varnisher, from 1967 creation of first sculptures and preoccupation with painting, trained at the Blocherer School in Munich, settled in Spain as freelance artist in 1982, 2000-2 lecturer at the Vulkaneifel Academy in Steffeln, artist friendships with Ernst Fuchs, Salvador Dali and Arno Breker, source Wikipedia.
