dated (19)09, signed "Franz Seifert", embossed number 62, bronze dark brown patinated, young man I plain clothes and with a slider cap, carrying a heavy bucket and a rag, in moving surface design, on a flat rectangular plinth, mounted on a flat marble base, partially minutely rubbed, h bronze 24,5 cm, h overall 26,5 cm. Artist info: Austrian sculptor (1866 Vienna - 1951 Linz) studied under Edmund Hellmer and Carl Kundmann at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, he embarked on a long journey abroad (probably to Rome) and then worked for Hellmer for a short time, after which he was active in Vienna where he produced both some public works but also small busts, statues and sculptures.
