1905, indistinctly signed "Boss'Art 05", bronze brown patinated, dancing lady nude with moving surface, on round vaulted plinth, slight signs of age, h 41 cm. Artist info: Swiss sculptor and painter (1874 Zug to 1950 Jesteburg), apprenticeship as a stove-fitter in his home town Zug, from 1894 with a small scholarship to Munich to the Königliche Kunstgewerbeschule, studied painting for two semesters under Julius Hess, then studied at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Munich in the sculpture class under Wilhelm von Rümann, from 1899 in Berlin at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste, then attended Max Seliger's painting class at the Unterrichtsanstalt des Kunstgewerbemuseums Berlin, then four years as a master student under Arthur Kampf, then freelance with small sculptures as well as various, also public commissioned works, from 1906 teaching at the Kunstgewerbeschule Hamburg.
