Large classicist frame France
19th century, approx. 16 cm wide, ascending profiled, stuccoed and leaf-gilt frame on red bolus, partially polished, the wide throat decorated with pipe-cut, palmettes in the centres and corners, the profile ending as a laurel staff, the corners mitred and braced on the back, centrally mounted shield with inscription "Delaroche", stucco partially cracked, colouring gone over in places, traces of age, folding dimensions approx. 93.5 x 131.5 cm.
